By Dr Jacqueline Cahill Wilson, who is Principal Investigator for the LIARI (Late Iron Age and Roman Ireland) Project, which is researching the extent of Ireland’s relationship with Rome. Leaving Ireland in 1989, Dr Wilson worked in Higher Education funding and later graduated at the University of Bristol where she is now a Research Fellow after completing her doctorate there in 2010. She has lectured extensively on topics that include the Iron Age in western Europe and the archaeology of Rome and western provinces. For further details see Spring Lecture 2014 flyer
